Last month, we decided to make a difference to someone’s life by giving them the chance to win a free pair of hearing aids.
As audiologists, we know that it takes time for many people to book themselves in for an appointment, meaning there is still a large majority of people who are oblivious to the future life they could be living, that’s why we wanted to change someone’s life by asking you to nominate someone special whom you think is deserving of hearing care.
Our Hear for the Holidays giveaway ran in all of our regions, including Homestead (FL), the Florida Keys, Panama, and Hialeah (FL).
And in the Florida Keys, we announced two winners, meaning five people overall had the chance to access comprehensive hearing care and a complimentary hearing aid!
Through reading your nominations, we have been so touched by all of your words and have truly recognized the compassion and solicitous spirit that many of you carry. During these dark times, it has outlined the honest goodwill in humankind and has given us all the positive lift we desperately needed.
Dr. Michelle is proud to announce the winners as Lexi Boice, Martina Gutierrez, Ila Gorman, Jack Ruvo, and Roger Melendez. Our winners were invited to the clinic to receive a comprehensive hearing assessment and a hearing aid fitting free of charge.
We enjoyed visiting our Florida Keys winners in person and getting to know the great people behind the nominations.
The Florida Keys winner, Ila Gorman:
Ila is no stranger to hearing aids, as she has been wearing them since she was 4 years old.
Diagnosed at a young age, Ila has found everyday tasks more difficult than others, but she hasn’t let this stop her from reaching her goals.
Ila has been a patient of ours for many years, and we are so excited to be the catalyst toward better and improved hearing while saving her family’s investment!
The Florida Keys winner, Jack Ruvo:
Our second winner from the Florida Keys was delighted to receive free hearing aids, especially since he has suffered from hearing loss for many years.
Hearing is the primary beacon to our everyday lives, and we are so honored to provide this service to so many of you, allowing you to connect with your loved ones once again.
Dr. Michelle was so glad to gift Jack and many others with the magic of hearing, ensuring they could enjoy hearing all of their family just in time for the holidays.
Concerned about your hearing?
Just like your regular dentist, doctor, and hair appointments, it feels unusual to go without regular check-ups often.
Yet, the World Health Organization stated that around 466 million people worldwide have a disabling hearing loss, and many of these go without treatment for several years.
Dr. Michelle hopes to provide the first point of contact toward better hearing, ensuring you receive an in-depth procedure looking into your overall ear health and wellbeing during our comprehensive hearing assessments.
If you or a loved one is experiencing worrying signs of hearing loss, request a callback here, and we look forward to speaking with you shortly.
