I am an audiologist, but what is it that I do? Let me tell you…

I studied for eight years to obtain my Doctor of Audiology, which allows me to evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage hearing and balance disorders.

I am qualified to do this for newborn babies, adolescences, adults, geriatrics, anyone at any age is able to receive the services of a Doctor of Audiology. Often, people confuse the audiology profession with other individuals in the field who are certified to test hearing and dispense hearing aids. Both professions are dominant in our nation, but an audiologist is your primary health care professional that is going to be able to take care of your needs.
